A lot of small businesses have a website just to tick a box.

But here’s the problem — your website isn’t neutral.
It’s either helping you get customers, or quietly pushing them away.

If you’re not getting many enquiries, or people say they’ll “check your website” and never come back, there’s usually a reason.

A lot of small business websites were built a few years ago… and then left alone.

At the time, they probably did the job. But things move fast online, and what worked even a couple of years ago can already feel outdated now.

The way people browse, compare, and decide who to work with has changed. Expectations are higher, attention spans are shorter, and competition is stronger.

If your website is meant to bring in customers, it needs to keep up.

If you’ve got a website but it’s not bringing in enquiries, you’re not alone.

A lot of small businesses invest in a website, get it live, and then… nothing really happens. No consistent leads, no regular enquiries — just the occasional message here and there.

At that point, it’s easy to assume:
“Maybe people just aren’t interested or I need to run ads, maybe its just quiet”

But most of the time, the issue isn’t demand.
